From Design to Print, Print Work from a Single Source
Your catalog, packaging or brochure doesn't just look good on screen; it also comes out of the print house exactly as designed. Design, prepress, production supervision and color control proceed under the responsibility of one person. With the discipline gained on luxury brand projects and the packaging experience from my e-commerce packaging business, you get a service that ends not when the file is delivered, but when the product reaches your hands.

- Single-source responsibility from digital to print house: no passing the ball between the designer and the print house
- Command of production realities (material, dieline, quantity-cost balance) thanks to the active e-commerce packaging business I run
- Faster drafts and more controlled cost with AI-supported production processes
- Integrated work with your corporate identity: printed materials speak the same language as your digital assets
What does the catalog, packaging and print design service cover?
This service covers the design of product catalogs, brochures, packaging, boxes, labels and promotional items, and the management of the print production of this work. In other words, it is not just a "print-ready file" that is delivered; the entire process, from the idea stage to the printed product that reaches your hands, is run from a single point.
- Product catalog: printed or digital catalogs for the sales team and dealers to use
- Brochures and promotional materials: from a flyer to a multi-page corporate brochure
- Packaging and box design: retail-shelf packaging and e-commerce shipping boxes
- Label design: product and shipping labels, together with their technical preparation
- Promotional items: branded planners, bags, mugs and similar materials
- Print supervision and color control: print-house coordination, proofing and quality inspection
All printed work is prepared in harmony with your existing corporate identity if you have one; if your identity is not yet established, that foundation is built together first.
Why is it important to run design and printing from a single source?
Because in print work, most problems arise in the gap between the designer and the print house. The color approved on screen comes out differently on paper, a file with missing bleed causes problems at cutting, and the two sides point at each other. When design and production management are with the same person, this gap disappears: the file is prepared according to the print house's technique, and production is supervised according to the design's intent.
| Topic | Separate designer + separate print house | Single-source management |
|---|---|---|
| Responsibility | When a problem arises the parties point at each other | A single point of contact, clear responsibility |
| Color consistency | The screen-print difference becomes your problem | Checked at proofing and at the start of production |
| File preparation | You have to convert to the format the print house wants | The print-ready file is produced within the process |
| Coordination | You correspond separately with two parties | Schedule and communication run from a single point |
What does e-commerce packaging business experience add to this service?
My e-commerce packaging business is an active business I run in the field of e-commerce packaging; what it adds to this service is knowledge gained not in theory but in production. I know how material choice changes cost, where the dieline causes problems, and which printing technique makes sense at which quantities — not from behind a desk but from the production floor. This directly affects both design decisions and your budget, especially in packaging and box projects.
How is color and quality control done in printing?
Color control is a staged process that runs from the moment the design is approved until delivery:
- Design files are converted to the color profile suited to the printing technique (CMYK, and Pantone if needed).
- Bleed, dieline and paper choice are clarified together with the print house.
- For critical work, a proof print is taken and submitted for your approval.
- At the start of production, color and cutting are checked, and if there is any deviation, it is corrected immediately.
- A final check is done at delivery; source files are forwarded to your archive.
How is pricing determined?
Giving a single list price for print work is not realistic, because the cost depends less on design effort than on production variables. The number of pages, print quantity, paper and material quality, and extra processes such as lamination or foil significantly change the total. That is why ranges in the Turkey market are discussed for informational purposes, while the exact figure is clarified in the meeting through a proposal prepared based on your need and quantities. You can review examples of similar work in the portfolio, and to clarify the scope together, you can write via the contact page.
How does printed work connect to the brand as a whole?
Catalogs and packaging are the first physical touchpoints your brand reaches the customer with; if they conflict with your digital appearance, trust is damaged. That is why I approach print work not in isolation but with a brand consulting perspective, and when needed I build a whole that speaks the same language as the digital side. AI-supported production processes, too, help drafts arrive faster within this whole and keep revision costs low.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does catalog or packaging design cost?
Giving a clear list price would be misleading; the cost changes according to the number of pages, print quantity, material quality and extra processes such as lamination and foil. In the Turkey market, ranges for the same job are quite wide. In the first meeting I listen to your need and prepare a clear proposal showing the design and production items separately; the figure is finalized with this proposal.
How long does a catalog project take?
The timeline depends on the number of pages, whether the product visuals are ready, and the print quantity. Thanks to AI-supported production processes, the first drafts come quickly; the total timeline is shaped by revision rounds and print-house workload. In the discovery meeting we draw up a realistic timeline based on your delivery date.
Do you also handle the printing, or do you only deliver the design?
Both models are possible. The preferred way of working is single-source management from design to print house: I follow up the print-house selection, proofing, color control and delivery. If you want to work with your own print house, I deliver the print-ready files together with a technical specification.
How many revisions do I get?
A certain number of revision rounds is defined in the proposal, and this is more than enough for most projects. The aim is not to limit revisions, but to set up the process correctly at the discovery stage and reduce the need for major changes from the start. Requests that change the scope are priced separately and proceed transparently.
Who handles the dieline and technical drawings for packaging and boxes?
These preparations are part of the service. Dieline, bleed, material selection and printing-technique decisions are prepared with the packaging production experience from my e-commerce packaging business, in coordination with the print house. All that remains for you is to approve.
We don't have professional product photography; can a catalog still be made?
Yes. Your existing visuals are evaluated, and if needed the shooting process is coordinated; where appropriate, more is drawn out of the available material with AI-supported visual editing. The visual need is clarified in the discovery meeting and included in the proposal.
Does it make sense to have a low-quantity print run?
Quantity determines the printing technique: digital printing is usually more economical at low quantities, and offset at high quantities. According to your need, I calculate which technique is advantageous in unit cost, and we determine the right quantity together without having you produce unnecessary stock.
