GEO Consulting

Get your company cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI answers

Your customers now ask an AI engine before they search Google. AI visibility (GEO) consulting measures how those engines describe your brand today, fixes the signals they rely on, and re-measures every month.

What is AI visibility (GEO) consulting?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) consulting is the work of making a company, product or person appear as a named, trusted source in the answers generated by ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Classic SEO competes for a position in a list of links. GEO competes for a place inside a single answer.

The model does not "rank" you. It resolves who you are from dozens of sources (your site, directories, LinkedIn, press, reviews), checks whether those sources agree, and quotes the page that answers the question most directly. So the job has three parts: make your identity consistent everywhere, give the model something it can quote, and make it machine-readable. I run this on my own site first: sefaaydin.com is cited as the first source in Google AI Overviews for AI news queries, and the same signals are what we set up for you.

A real question your customer asks an AI engine

"Can you recommend a consultant or agency that can make my company visible in AI search engines?"

This exact question reached sefaaydin.com through Google in August 2026, without any page written for it. The answer engines are already producing recommendations. The only question is whether your name is in them. The audit session shows you what they say about you today.

The five-step GEO process

The same skeleton for a law firm, a clinic or a real estate brand. The question set and the sources change, the method does not.

01

Baseline audit

20 to 40 real customer questions run on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews. Who is mentioned, how, from which source.

02

Entity consistency

Name, description, address, founders and services made identical across your site, Google Business, LinkedIn, directories and press.

03

Technical signals

Organization, Person, Service and FAQ structured data, llms.txt, AI crawler rules in robots.txt, clean server-rendered HTML.

04

Answer-first content

One page per real question: the answer in the first sentence, then numbers, names, comparisons and an FAQ the model can quote.

05

Monthly re-measurement

The same question set every month. Mention rate, position and description tracked in one sheet. The content routine adjusted accordingly.

The signals AI engines actually rely on

These are the items on the audit checklist. Most companies fail at least four of them without knowing.

Structured data

Organization, Person, Service, Product, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList in JSON-LD, all pointing at the same @id.

llms.txt

A plain-text summary of who you are, what you sell, prices and contact, written for language models rather than for people.

AI crawler access

GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended explicitly allowed in robots.txt. Many sites block them by accident.

Entity consistency

The same name, same description and same founder across at least ten independent sources. Disagreement makes the model silent.

Answer-first pages

The direct answer in the first 40 words, one question per page, numbers and named comparisons the model can lift verbatim.

Third-party mentions

Directory listings, industry press, reviews and partner pages that repeat your identity. The model trusts what others say about you more than what you say.

Who gets results fastest?

Professionals and personal brands

Doctors, lawyers, consultants, trainers. A single person is the easiest entity for a model to resolve.

Local and regional services

"Which clinic in Istanbul" type questions are where AI engines already recommend names every day.

Niche B2B companies

Few competitors, specific questions. Being the one clearly documented supplier wins the mention.

Brands selling to foreigners

Real estate, health tourism, education. Foreign buyers ask AI first, in their own language.

Frequently asked questions

What is GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)?

GEO is the work of making a brand, product or person appear as a cited source in answers produced by AI engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Classic SEO targets a list of links. GEO targets a single generated answer, so the goal is to be one of the few sources the model trusts and names.

How is GEO different from SEO?

SEO gives you a position among ten blue links. GEO gives you a mention inside one answer, often with no click at all. Both need technical health and good content, but GEO adds three things: consistent identity data across the web (entity), answer-first content the model can quote directly, and machine-readable signals such as structured data and llms.txt.

Can you guarantee my company appears in ChatGPT answers?

No one can honestly guarantee that, because the models and their sources change constantly. What I do guarantee is a measured baseline, a fixed list of signals that get fixed, and a monthly re-measurement so you can see whether the mentions are increasing.

How do you measure AI visibility?

We agree on 20 to 40 real questions your customers ask (for example "which company should I choose for X in Istanbul"). We run them on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews and record whether your brand is mentioned, in which position, with which description and which source URL. The same list is re-run every month.

How long does it take to see results?

Technical and identity fixes show up in AI answers within 4 to 8 weeks in my experience. Content-driven mentions take 2 to 4 months because they depend on the models re-reading your pages and third-party sources.

What does it cost?

It starts with a 90-minute GEO audit session (4.900 TL including VAT). You leave the session with the baseline measurement and a prioritized fix list. If you want me to implement and track it, you receive a tailored proposal based on the size of your site and the number of markets and languages.

Do you also do this for personal brands?

Yes. Consultants, doctors, lawyers, trainers and founders are the profiles where GEO works fastest, because a single person is an easy entity for a model to resolve once the signals are consistent.

Do I need a new website?

Usually not. Most of the work is structured data, entity consistency, a few answer-first pages and an llms.txt file. If the site cannot render clean HTML or blocks AI crawlers, that is fixed first.
