AI Training for Legal Departments and Lawyers Legal and compliance

What is this program?

AI training for lawyers is a full-day, hands-on program in which in-house legal departments and lawyers learn to use Claude and ChatGPT for contract review, document summaries, opinion and pleading drafts and regulation tracking while protecting professional confidentiality rules. The rule that AI output is a draft, not a legal opinion, is the foundation of the program.

Most legal work is done with text: reading, summarising, comparing, drafting. AI saves serious time in each of these. But lawyers have two justified concerns: confidentiality and accuracy. This program does not ignore either concern. It turns both into rules.

Why now

For confidentiality, the conditions under which client and company data may enter which tool are put into a written rule. For accuracy, the risk of AI inventing case law and clause numbers is covered together with a verification step. By the end of the day the team leaves with a flow that produces fast drafts but uses no output without verification.

Who is it for?

In-house legal departments

Teams that manage the contract flow, compliance and internal opinion requests.

Law firms and lawyers

Those who produce document summaries, pleadings and client correspondence for many files.

Compliance and data protection officers

Those responsible for policy documents, data inventories and regulation tracking.

Program flow: six modules

Talking takes at most a fifth of the day. The rest is hands-on production on your own files, each module ending with a piece of real work.

01

Professional confidentiality and tool selection

Under which conditions client and company data may enter a tool, anonymisation, corporate accounts and data processing agreements. This module opens the day and is the condition for everything that follows.

02

Contract review and comparison

Risk clause lists from long contracts, extracting the differences between two versions, spotting deviations from standard clauses. With the team's own anonymised contracts.

03

Document summaries and case file preparation

A summary of chronology, parties and key facts from a file of hundreds of pages. Using models with large context windows for long documents.

04

Opinion, pleading and correspondence drafts

Opinion letters, pleading skeletons, client update emails. AI writes the draft, the lawyer supplies the law.

05

Fabricated case law risk and verification

AI's tendency to produce non-existent decisions and clauses. A source verification step for every citation, and the rule that an unverifiable citation is deleted.

06

Regulation tracking and compliance documents

Summaries of the clauses in new regulations that concern the team, policy drafts on topics such as data protection and the EU AI Act.

Real work scenarios

The kind of tasks the day is built around. Yours replace these after the discovery call.

An 80-page supply contract

Listing risk clauses and deviations from the standard in one hour, with the decision left to the lawyer.

Comparing two contract versions

Extracting every change in the new version sent by the other side, clause by clause.

Litigation file chronology

A date-ordered event summary and missing documents list from scattered files.

Client update letter

Summarising a technical legal situation in language the client will understand.

Internal opinion request

Turning a question from a department into an opinion letter draft, with citations verified.

New regulation summary

A summary of the clauses of a regulation published in the Official Gazette that concern the company, and an action list.

Frequently asked questions

Is entering client information into AI compatible with professional rules?

Entering it raw into a personal account is not. The program teaches the anonymisation method and the use of tools with a data processing agreement under a corporate account. Which document may be processed under which conditions is put into a written rule, and for some documents the answer is "never entered".

AI invents case law that does not exist. How is that prevented?

It cannot be prevented entirely, which is why a verification step for every citation is the rule in the program. An unverifiable citation is deleted. AI is used not to find case law but to summarise, compare and draft from the documents in your hands.

How much does AI training for lawyers cost?

The standard package is a full day for up to 10 people at 49,900 TL plus VAT. The discovery call, content preparation with anonymised sample documents, a team guide and 30 days of Q&A support are included. Large law firms or multiple offices are scoped by proposal.

Which model is better for legal texts?

For long documents Claude Opus 5 and Gemini 3.1 Pro stand out with their large context windows, while Claude Sonnet 5 is sufficient for daily drafting. The program shows which task is done with which model, and the current comparison is kept on the AI models page.

Does the training replace legal advice?

No. The program is tool training and contains no legal advice. That AI output is a draft and not a legal opinion is the first rule of the program.

Are the EU AI Act and data protection law covered?

They are covered in the compliance documents module: the company's AI usage policy, the data inventory and summaries of new regulations. If an in-depth compliance program is wanted, the data security and privacy program is the better fit.
